PSV driver slaps another in a bout of rage

Having slapped a fellow PSV driver in the face after a bout of road rage, Corey Jamal Best ended up before a Bridgetown Court charged with assault.

Best, 33, of Thornbury Hill, Christ Church pleaded guilty to the offence carried out against Olrick Jordan on May 12, 2018. He is also accused of damaging spectacles belonging to Jordan but he denied this.

According to the details of the incident, Jordan was stationary at a bus stop when Best tried to overtake him, however, Jordan drove off as soon as Best attempted his manoeuvre. Best eventually managed to overtake Jordan's ZR, stopped the vehicle and upset, he proceeded to disembark and slap Jordan.

The magistrate condemned Best's manner of driving and Jordan is expected to make an appearance when the matter is called again on July 13th. A pre-sentencing report was also ordered for that date. Best was placed on $3000 bail.
