WATCH: QEH receives $57,000 donation from 'oldest friend'

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has received a significant and timely donation from local charity, League of Friends.

The donation was made in the amount of $57,000 with the funds raised from the Variety Shop which operates inside the Hospital.

 

 

Acting CEO, Louise Bobb said the League of Friends has offered immeasurable support to the hospital ever since the relationship between the two began in 1965.

“We have benefited from donated funds and the spirit of philanthropy that the League of Friends has always offered to this institution. It is well-needed and on behalf of the Board and Management of the hospital I would like to offer my sincerest gratitude for sticking with us, supporting us and being our oldest friend.”
