The 26-year-old rapper was pronounced dead around noon on Friday after authorities responded to a call at his home in Los Angeles. He reportedly died of an overdose.
His fifth studio album, "Swimming", was just released on Monday.
The "Self Care" Miller has been open about his battle with substance abuse over the years. In May, he was arrested for driving under the influence and hit-and-run after knocking down a utility pole.
“I made a stupid mistake,” he said in an interview. “I’m a human being. Like, [I] drove home drunk. But it was the best thing that could have happened. … I needed that. I needed to run into that light pole and literally, like, have the whole thing stop.”
Miller broke up with singer Ariana Grande in May of this year after a two-year relationship. She later started dating comedian Pete Davidson and the pair are now engaged.
