Police identify the two men shot dead in St Philip

Police are conducting investigations into a shooting incident which resulted in the death two men from East Point, St. Philip. The incident occurred sometime around 7:49 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, whilst at Marley Vale, St. Philip.

During this incident, Renaldo Gittens 23 years and Kyle Rico Burgess 21 years, received injuries and were later pronounced dead at the scene.


The police report said that there was a group of persons liming in an area, when suddenly, there was a number of loud explosions which caused the crowd to disperse; the two deceased men were then discovered lying motionless on the ground.

Police have confirmed that they are investigating an incident in  Marley Vale, St Philip, which occurred tonight.

While they would not confirm further details, Loop News understands that two men who were liming in the area were shot dead during a drive by shooting
