Almost two months after a roadworks pilot project centred around a mini-roundabout in Glebe was to end, said structure is being removed.

News of such came in a press release from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance (MTWM) today, Friday, June 21, 2019. The notice read that the Ministry advises that the pilot project of the temporary, mini-roundabout, situated at the Glebe, St George, has come to an end. It was placed at the junction of Highway X and the road to St. George Parish Church.

Consequently, the structure and attendant signage will be removed on Monday, June 24. Motorists are advised that traffic controls will revert to the previous arrangements.

The MTWM thanks motorists for their continued cooperation.

In the original release about the traffic change, this experiment was to be conducted from April 3 to May 3, 2019.
