UPDATE: Shot party cruise patron dies; family in disbelief

Family and friends of a 26-year-old man have been left reeling after his unexpected and tragic death in the wee hours of this morning.

Donason Ricardo Husbands, of Fairfield Road, Black Rock, St. Michael, received a number of wounds about his body while in the parking lot dockside down by the Flour Mill. He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance, but he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Police are carrying out investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident which occurred around 2:30 am this morning, Friday, July 13, 2018, in the carpark area East of the Flour Mill, off Spring Garden Highway, St. Michael.

Also shot during the incident was another man who had attended the same party cruise. The two had just disembarked and were making their way towards their vehicle in the said carpark when the shots went off.

The unidentified man received injuries to his left thigh. He was later transported by private transportation to the QEH. 

Police investigations are at a sensitive stage.
