Silver Hill youth slapped with six charges after shooting incident

A young man from Christ Church has been remanded as a result of a shooting incident which occurred on the Errol Barrow bank holiday.
Jahlany Tramaine Yarde of 6B Silver Hill Drive, appeared in the Oistins Magistrate Court on January 30, 2020 charged with a number of offences.
The 20-year-old was charged with unlawfully wounding Orerand Oliver with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or do serious bodily harm, damaging one shop belonging to Emrene Durant, damaging one motor car belonging to Latisha Beckles and unlawful use of a firearm.
Yarde was also charged with two other offences not related to the January 21, 2020 shooting. He was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Cameron Holder on December 22, 2019 and assaulting Sherissa Dublin, occasioning actual bodily harm on October 31, 2019.
When he appeared in court before Magistrate Watts he was remanded into custody at HMP Dodds. He is scheduled to reappear at the Oistins Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 27, 2020 to answer to all charges.
