Singer, two others remanded until Thursday
A Barbadian singer and two others charged with drug-related offences totalling $633,000 have been remanded until Thursday.
On that date, they will appear in the Holetown Magistrates' court.
The three: Betty Alicia Griffith-Payne, 38, of West Terrace Heights, St James; Marie Alexa Griffith, 35, of Cleavers Hill, St Joseph and Guyanese national, Kwanza Ezra Canterbury, 34, appeared before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch at District 'C' Magistrates' Court today but were not required to plead to the indictable charges.

It is reported the offences were committed at West Terrace Heights, St James and Mason Hall Street St. Michael, respectively, between November 7 to 10, 2017.
The trio is jointly charged for Unlawful Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply, Trafficking Cocaine, and Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine
The two women also face an additional charge of Handling Cocaine, while Canterbury faces additional charges of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Trafficking Cannabis.
Total weight of the Cocaine is 12.5 kilos valued $625,000.00
The weight of the Cannabis is 1 kilo valued $8,000.00
