In a press release, the Royal Barbados Police Force disclosed that police personnel in the Southern Division are conducting investigations into the unnatural death of KATANI JAMANI EMMANUEL CALLENDER ALIAS "KAY KAY" OR "SNOOP" 29 YEARS OF SUNNY SIDE COURT, DEACONS FARM, ST. MICHAEL which occurred about 8:33 pm on Friday.
Police spokesman Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss confirmed to Loop News today, Saturday, May 11, 2019, that 'Kay Kay' was known to the police and court.
In regard to the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death, police reported that the deceased resided at Sunny Side Court, Deacons Farm, St. Michael, but was staying at the residence of a friend in Ruby Tenantry, St. Philip. At the time of the incident, he was sitting in a chair just outside the said residence when loud and sudden explosions were heard. His lifeless body was discovered by residents of the household. Ambulance personnel were summoned and confirmed that there was no sign of life. Police investigations are continuing.
Police have issued a public appeal for witnesses stating that anyone who may have information related to this incident is asked to contact District ‘C’ Police Station at 416-8200, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers 1800-8477(TIPS) or any Police Station.
