South American women, assault Barbados Immigration officer, deported

One teenage girl was amongst the four non-nationals who left District 'C' Magistrate Court with one thing set - a one-way ticket out of Barbados.

On Thursday, November 15, 2018, the police in the Southern Division arrested and formally charged

1. Leidy Yurani Rodas Lemos, 31 years old, 

 Address: Colombia

2. Johanna Martinez Palacios, 19 years old

Address: Colombia

3. Carolina Estupinan, 21 years old

Address: Colombia

4. Handisa Amanda Adams, 23 years old

Address: Guyana

The with charged with the offence of Assault.

The police report said that the four were arrested after they assaulted an Immigration Officer in the execution of his duty whilst at the Grantley Adams International Airport, Christ Church, in Barbados. 

They appeared at the District 'C' Magistrate Court, St. Matthias, Christ Church, today, Friday, November 16, 2018, before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch and were convicted, reprimanded, discharged and handed over to the Immigration Department for deportation.
