The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has advised that the St. Leonard's Boys' School, at Richmond Gap, St. Michael, will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25, as a result of environmental problems.
It will reopen on Wednesday, September 26. Tomorrow will be the second day the school remains affected by the environmental issue.
The Ministry thanks parents and guardians for their understanding, and regrets any inconvenience caused.
The Frederick Smith Secondary School in Trents, St. James is another government school affected by environmental issues which resulted in the school being closed last Friday September 21. A return date for students is yet to be given by the Ministry of Education.
