Police have confirmed that a man is in custody assisting police investigations.

Careful not to state that the man is in custody in relation to Sunday's shooting incidents, the Acting Public Relations Officer for the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF), Sargeant Michael Blackman asserted:

"Andre Jackman is currently in police custody assisting with investigations. That is in relation to police investigations that are on-going. He is assisting police with investigations."

Jackman's aliases include 'Lord Evil' and 'Punchies'.

Asked about patrols in the most Northern-parish, Blackman assured that police presence and surveillance have increased in St. Lucy since Sunday.
