Despite partnering with some public service vehicles (PSVs) to deliver an improved service to commuters, the Transport Board is warning persons that there will be bus delays on Whit Monday.

In a press release issued, the Transport Board reminded "commuters that on Whit Monday we will be operating a reduced schedule as is customary on Bank Holidays."

Noting that students are still writing examinations such as Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQ) under the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) umbrella, the statement also said, "We are aware that the Caribbean Examination Council will be hosting examinations across the island on Monday, June 10, and urge parents and students alike to plan accordingly."

Regularly scheduled operations by the Transport Board are expected to resume on Tuesday, June 11.
