Communication and efficiency within the police force in St Vincent and the Grenadines may improve after a timely donation from the Taiwan Embassy.

The Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan made a donation to the Special Branch Department within the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) of computers and VHF radios.

Today speaking to Loop News, the officer confirmed what was donated to the force. With this injection, the Special Branch is now more equipped to protect the citizens and visitors to St Vincent and the Grenadines.

According to the police press statement, the equipment is valued at USD $2,500 and it will boost its efficiency and overall effectiveness.

The donation was made by Chris C. Tseng of the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan to St Vincent's Commissioner of Police Colin John at the Police Conference Room last Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Commissioner John thanked Tseng and the members of the Embassy for the donation to the Police Force. He assured Tseng that the equipment will be put to its intended use and that every effort will be undertaken to take care of them.
