Card payments accepted in Chefette drive-thrus now.
Chefette Restaurants Limited is accepting payments made with credit and debit cards at all its drive-thrus now.
In an interview Loop News today after dropping the news on their Facebook page and Instagram yesterday, Managing Director of Chefette, Ryan Haloute said:
"Chefette is always looking for ways to constantly improve and by extension offer more convenience to our customers.”
The payment process has been tried and Haloute said that they are confident it can be applied across the length and breadth of the island at all locations.
“Warrens was our first drive-thru that this new Wireless Debit & Credit Card Terminals were installed and we thoroughly tested it for the past few months before rolling out to our other drive-thrus earlier this week.”
On the Facebook page, the post has received 184 shares and over 430 likes and nearly 48 comments.
Haloute added, “Thus far our customers have been extremely pleased that we now offer this added convenience option in our drive-thrus."
With recent reports by CarIFS of some proprietors preventing customers from using debit cards to make Point-Of-Sale purchases when the total is below a particular limit, Chefette quickly stated that this will not be a problem for persons.
On Facebook, Chefette asserted, “this will apply for any amount spent.”
