Teenager charged with unlawful and malicious conduct

An 18-year-old accused of endangering the lives of two others appeared in the District "A" Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Diego Reyshan Wilson, of Spencer's Gap, Baxter's Road, St Michael is accused of engaging in unlawful and malicious conduct which placed Jakeem Germain and Cory Agard in danger of death or serious bodily harm on December 16, 2016.

The prosecutor, Sergeant Cameron Gibbons, in his objections, said there was a need to protect society and the crown feared if Wilson was granted bail he may commit similar offences.

It is also alleged that a firearm was used in commission of the offence and that Hinds was currently on a firearm charge.

The teenager, who is already on remand, was given a further date at the St Phillip institution. He returns to court later this month when his lawyer is expected to make a bail application.
