Theft-accused pleads guilty, but not to everything

A St. Michael man admitted to theft-related charges yesterday when he appeared in the District 'A' Magistrates' Court.

He is Lawrence Nathaniel Hayden Blunte, 40, of Division Drive, Eden Lodge, St. Michael. Blunte was remanded until April 25.

He pleaded guilty to:

. entering Beulah Ellis' house, as a trespasser, on March 24, 2018, and stealing a $300 iPhone,

. stealing a hammer, stereo and battery; together valued at $725, belonging to Imran Mohamed on March 16, 2018,

. and damaging, without lawful excuse, a truck belonging to Confectionary and Snacks (Barbados) Limited between March 15 and March 16, 2018.

Blunte, however, pleaded not guilty to stealing four cases of beer, a radio; valued at $430, belonging to Nicholas King on March 24, 2018.
