Too close to call? Savannah Grass and Famalay dominate T&T road

The Road March race is on and it seems it’s too close to call as both Kees’ ‘Savannah Grass’ and ‘Famalay’ by Machel Montano, Skinny Fabulous and Bunji Garlin dominated the road on Carnival Monday.

Several bands chose to cross the stage to the song, which are the two main contending songs, on Monday.

If Machel Montano wins, this will be his 10th Road March title. Another crowd favourite on Carnival Monday was Mr Killa’s ‘Run Wid It.’

However, due to the rules of the competition, Mr. Killa, who is a Grenadian national cannot enter the competition.

He won the International Soca Monarch on Friday.

The competition will heat up today as bands take to the streets on Carnival Tuesday.
