VIDEO: Traffic Watch: Accidents, sewage overflows causing gridlock

Here is a look at conditions on our roads and any major concerns for the afternoon.

Two accidents were reported to police for the afternoon. While these collisions at Sargeant Village, Christ Church and Baxters Road, St Michael are causing congestion, no injuries were reported.

Traffic is heavy on major roads right now, particularly at Waterford Bottom as you approach Bridgetown and River Road through to Collymore Rock. Motorists should also expect delays if travelling in the Hastings, Christ Church area around Lanterns Mall. This, as drivers manoeuvre through sewage overflows there. Persons are urged to exercise caution and avoid splashing pedestrians.

Sergeant Seibert Johnson is warning drivers to exercise concern on the road.

This as he witnessed a motorist "with children in the vehicle, rocking it from side-to-side and nearly running into a light pole."

Our roads are not entertainment centres - be cautious!
