Commuters who use Transport Board buses are being asked to seek alternative arrangements as the workers of that state-owned company have gone on strike.
Loop News understands the workers are reportedly calling for improvements to working conditions such as gratuity/pension, as well as better working buses.
Just before 6 a.m. this morning, Transport Board management advised:
"Unfortunately, the workers of the Transport Board have decided to withdraw their services this morning. The management apologises for the inconveniences being experienced by you, the commuters, by this action.
"Please seek to make alternative travel arrangements to reach your destinations this morning."
