A man and woman on fraud-related charges were granted $8,000 bail today when they appeared in a District "A" Magistrates' Court.
They are Sean Ryan Oneal Marshall, 44, of Pine, St Michael and Phylicia Zaphinia Erica Marshall, 29, of Pinelands St Michael.
Both admitted to separate charges of uttering to Advance Caribbean Barbados Limited a forged instrument, namely a salary deduction form; knowing the same to be forged. The offences occurred in June 2016.
In addition, they are accused of obtaining money ($5,000 in terms of Sean and $4,000 by Phylicia) from the same place by using a forged cheque.
They were not required to plead to those charges which also occurred in June 2016.
The prosecutor asked for an adjournment in the matter, stating that another person was being sought.
There were, however, no objections to bail. They return to court on January 29, 2018.
