Two teens charged with shooting of Canadian visitor

Two teens, who were the subject of a wanted bulletin, were remanded to prison in connection with the shooting of a Canadian visitor.

Travis Orin Campbell of no fixed address and Alexandra Alleyne of Ealing Grove Gardens, Christ Church appeared in the District B Magistrate Court on charges of aggravated burglary, serious bodily harm and use of firearms.

On February 22, the teenagers allegedly stormed into the vacation residence of Canadian tourists Robert Elliott, Kenneth Elliott and their wives. Kenneth Elliott was shot in his shoulder and it was later revealed he was left paralyzed as a result of the shooting.

They were not required to plead to the charges when they appeared before Magistrate Edwood Watts today and were remanded into custody at HMP Dodds until April 6, 2020.
