Two ZRs crash near Princess Alice Terminal Loop News Created : 12 September 2017 Barbados News Early morning accident along Princess Alice Highway in The City. This morning three injured persons were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance. The call was received by the Barbados Ambulance Services at 6:39 am, this morning, Tuesday, September 12, 2017. According to personnel of the Barbados Defence Force (BDF) who were on site assisting with traffic along Princess Alice Highway, only three persons were injured in the collision. Two route taxis collided near the Cheapside Fish Market and had the inside lane of the Princess Alice Highway going away from the Bridgetown Harbour into the heart of Bridgetown impassable. Persons including children in school uniforms had disembarked and were standing outside the vehicles while the injured parties were taken on stretchers into ambulances and whisked away. Members of the Royal Barbados Police Force were on the scene as well. Police preliminary reports suggest the injuries are minor.
