Chefette Restaurants has praised its staff for adapting to the conditions imposed by the island wide power outages which affected the business and entire country over the past few days.

Yesterday, November 19, saw the closure of branches situated at Wildey, St Michael; Oistins, Christ Church; and Rockley, Christ Church.
Speaking to Loop News last night after power had been restored and the Rockley Restaurant was back in operation, Managing Director of Chefette Restaurants Limited, Ryan Haloute said, "Our Team worked extremely well under the severe circumstances and must be commended."
With some lovers of Chefette asking about the inclusion of generators to keep doors opened in the case of another outage, Haloute explained, "We generally temporarily close a Chefette if we do not have water and power goes off at night, making it difficult for the team to move around."
However, he disclosed that some employees did turn up for their shifts despite the outages and to the best of their ability, they accommodated them as well. "Our staff who reported to work, we transported in our shuttles from locations that were temporarily closed to our other locations that were fully functional."
There are 15 Chefette Restaurants across the island, with the newest one at Lancaster, St James.
