The Accused being escorted to the prison bus.
Four men, including one teen, who appeared on murder and gun-related charges were remanded to prison today.
The names and charges are as follows:
Shamar Recardo James, 33 of Murphy's Pasture, Chapman Lane, St Michael. James is accused of supplying a firearm to Jaleel Callender between January 1 and February 18, 2019.
Lamar Alex Hewitt, 27, of 7th New Orleans is accused of murdering Corrie Parris on January 23, 2019, and supplying a firearm to Rio Benn between February 1 and 18, 2019.
They were not required to plead and both were remanded until March 29.
the remaining two - Jaleel Kadeem Callender, 25, of Block 2D Barbarees Gardens, Barbarees Hill, St Michael and Jalen Trimal Jones - Cox, 18 Kings Gap, Eagle Hall, St Michael are both accused of murdering Darrell Harris on January 15.
They were remanded until April 1.
All appeared in the No. 1 District 'A' Magistrate's Court before Magistrate Douglas Frederick. Callender was represented by lawyer Harry Husbands, Jones- Cox is represented by lawyer Ajamu Boardi, attorney-at-law Romain Marshall represented James and Hewitt was unrepresented.
