Vincentian teen allegedly gang-raped at school

Three teenagers have been charged with the rape of a 12-year-old schoolgirl, which allegedly occurred at the victim's school, in St Vincent and the Grenadines. 

According to a report by iWitness News, the incident occurred on January 31, 2018, in which the girl was said to have been attacked while she left to go to the bathroom during class. 

The 12-year-old girl was so brutally attacked that she collapsed upon returning to her class. She was taken to receive medical attention where she related what occurred. 

Medical authorities said the girl's head was bruised from the force with which her head hit the floor while she was being violated. 

The boys, aged 15, 16, and 17, appeared in court in Kingstown on February 7, 2018.

If convicted, the boys face the maximum penalty of life in prison.
