A week after losing their Barbados Football Association (BFA) Premier League crown, Weymouth Wales returned to the BFA Wildey Turf last Sunday to demolish Britton's Hill FC 6-2 and move onto the final of the BFA Champions Cup.
Britton's Hill were on the unfortunate end of a champion’s backlash.
After two successive premiership titles, Wales were dethroned last weekend by the Barbados Defense Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) by a 5-4 aggregate score in their three game series.
Wales were out for revenge and Britton's Hill were the example as the Carrington Village outfit was relentless in their onslaught.
National center back Ramar Millar gave Wales the lead in the 20th minute when he headed in Romario Harewood’s right side corner from six yards.
Zidkigah Samuel tied the score at 1-1 when he converted from the penalty spot in 27th minute.
Wales went ahead for the second time in the 33rd minute when Shaquille Boyce blasted his right foot effort into the bottom right hand corner from inside the penalty area.
A brace for attackers Antone Greaves (47th and 74th) and Romario Harewood (61st and 84th) wrapped up Wales’ goal scoring summary.
Carl Joseph scored Britton's Hill second goal in the 52nd minute.
