WATCH: Best Bajan Beaches - Browne's Beach

One of the treasures of Bridgetown can be found smacked in between Pebbles Beach and Carlisle Bay - Browne's Beach.

This white, sandy beach with stunningly blue waters, beautifully blankets a long stretch of the coast and is no doubt one of the best chill beaches around Barbados.

It doesn't matter what you are looking for - relaxation, swimming, snorkelling, playing in the sand and so much more - you can enjoy those activities in comfort, with easy access to the beach from its carpark. It also provides some comfort knowing that a lifeguard is on duty.

While some other beaches may have a range of amenities such as chairs for rent and a variety of food places, Browne's Beach sets the stage for an intimate time with friends and family.

Carry your blankets, chairs, favourite delicacies and drinks to make the experience your own.

You can still expect to see various mobile food services driving in and even a vendor or two set up around the carpark, just in case you want something else.

One thing for sure is that the bar opposite Bownes Beach will be open to satisfy your snacking and or drinking needs, whether you require something light and refreshing like the sweet breeze that cools you down at the beach, or a stronger wave to whet your appetite and climax your beach experience.

We suggest you might want to avoid hitting the actual waves if you go too strong though.
