Weapons found on board ZR following City shooting

Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred on Friday and resulted in injuries to an 18-year-old St. James resident. 

On Friday, May 24, Kyle St. Louis of Mills APTs Haynesville, went to the Black Rock Police Station around 5:55 pm where he reported that he had been shot in back of his head by unknown men while in the vicinity of Mortuary Road, Cheapside, St. Michael. An ambulance was summoned and St.Louis was taken to QEH for medical attention. 

The shooting occurred about 5:30 pm and around 6:00 pm police, acting on information that a number of males had boarded a route taxi near Cheapside, intercepted the van along Bridge Gap St. Michael near a popular restaurant. Several males were taken into custody.  

A search of the suspects revealed a small quantity of cannabis, four rounds of ammunition, a knife, a scissors, a cutlass, and two cap-guns.
