Weather Report- Flood watch discontinued, thunderstorms expected

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, Sunday, August 18, 2019.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, the tail end of a tropical wave is affecting the island. 

This morning is expected to be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with scattered showers and slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. 

While tonight is forecasted to be fair to partly cloudy with a few brief scattered showers at first, becoming generally fair and breezy.

As of 10:30 pm on August 17, the flood watch for the island was discontinued. 

Winds during the day will be from the generally from the E - ENE at 15 to 35 km/h. 

The sun rose at 5:46 am and will set at 6:18 pm this evening.

Throughout yesterday, the temperature reached a high of 30.9⁰C during the morning and dropped to a minimum temperature of 25.3⁰C during the night.

Seas are moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 2.0m.
