Wharf Road closed, fallen tree causes closure of road in St Philip

For the second time for the month of September, the Wharf Road in Bridgetown has been closed to the public as a result of bad weather.

The Royal Barbados Police Force confirmed that the road has been closed because of high swells which are causing waves to crash onto the road and resulting in low-visibility.

Police also said that a fallen tree has made a road in Station Hill, St Philip impassable.

Motorists are therefore urged to use alternative routes to travel around those areas.
