UPDATE: Syberton Miller remanded on murder charge
UPDATE: The wife of Cecil Miller, 63-year-old, Syberton Miller, was remanded to HMP Dodds in connection with her husband's death when she appeared in the District C Magistrate Court on Monday.
Miller was not required to plead to the indictable offence and will return to court on December 3 in the District B Court.
ORIGINAL POST: Exactly two months after the body of Cecil Miller was discovered in his St. George home, the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) has officially charged his wife, Syberton Miller with the offence of murder.
On September 18, the 68-year-old male was discovered by police at the 5th Avenue, Rowan's Park North residence with apparent stab wounds about his body. He was the former Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Product Authority (BTPA).
The wife of the deceased was hospitalized after the incident which came as a result of an alleged domestic dispute.
Syberton Miller is expected to appear in the District B Magistrate Court today, Monday November 19, to answer to the charges.
