Young male shot in Black Rock

Police are investigating a shooting incident which left a 22-year-old St. Michael male nursing multiple gunshot injuries.

Rashawn Savion Tudor of #2 Well Gap, Lodge Hill, St. Michael had received gunshot injuries to his lower abdomen and right thigh while at 1st Avenue Greaves Land, Black Rock.

The incident occurred on August 21 around 4 pm.

Police responded to a report of shots being fired at the Greaves Land and on arrival they found the victim lying on the ground with what appeared to be two gunshot injuries to his body.

According to police, the victim was riding his motorcycle in the area when he stopped in front of a house. As he was parking the motorcycle, the victim saw an unknown man approaching him from the opposite direction. The man pointed the firearm in the direction of the victim and fired two shots, causing him to fall to the ground. The man then ran off leaving the victim on the ground.

The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.

The shooter is described as being of light brown complexion; approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and thick build. At the time he was wearing a pink shirt and long brown pants.
