Police find man dead in truck; foul play not suspected

A family has been thrown into mourning with Christmas less than a week away.

This as the Royal Barbados Police Force reports another unnatural death, as the body of a 22-year-old male was found slumped over a vehicle in a St Michael area.

He has been named as Frederick Mulligan of Buttsbury Court, Polo Ridge, Holders Hill, St James.

Acting Public Relations Officer with the Force, Sergeant Michael Blackman, provided details into this incident:

"Police are carrying out investigations into the circumstances which resulted in the death of Frederick Mulligan age 22 years, of Buttsbury Court, Polo Ridge, Holders Hill, St James. 

"On Wednesday, December 19th about 7:25 pm, police responded to a report of an unresponsive male slumped over in an SUV at Reservoir Road, Lodge Hill, St Michael. On arrival, police discovered the body of Frederick Mulligan."

He added that foul play is not expected at this time:

"The body bore no marks of violence. Police does not suspect foul play. Investigations are continuing."
