Barbados Museum and Historical Society fundraising Heritage 5K
Come run for heritage!
Or walk, if that's your thing. Join the Barbados Museum and Historical Society on March 18, 2018, for a fundraising 5K Walk and Run around the Garrison area. Along the way, you'll pass many historic highlights, like the old Garrison Gate, the old Boys School that Sir Gary Sobers went to, and the Government Headquarters. You can learn more about them in your heritage booklet!
But there's more! Your $25 event fee ($15 for children under 12 and $10 per child for children's groups over 20) helps the Museum raise funds to preserve artefacts in the Museum Collection. So you're having fun and preserving Barbadian history and culture.
Event Route: Leave the Museum. Turn left onto Garrison Road and continue heading south. Turn left onto Dayrell’s Road. Turn right onto Harts Gap and continue straight along this road.
