Police investigate stabbing in Black Rock

A St. Michael woman is currently warded at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in serious but stable condition following a stabbing incident which occurred at her home.  

Police have identified the victim as Natasha Thompson. She was attacked at her residence in the area of Brighton Road on Thursday May 9, 2019 around 8:46 pm.  

Initial police reports reveal the victim was at home alone when she was attacked by an unknown assailant. During the attack she received a number of stab wounds about the body.  

Sometime after the attack, the victim’s husband, Mark Thompson returned home and found her on the floor in a pool of blood. He sought assistance from a neighbour and the victim was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
