Alphabet system does not apply at hair salons, barbers

Persons who wish to get their hair done are not restricted by the alphabet system.

The Government Information Service issued a notice today, May 18, as hair salons and barbers reopen their doors.

Members of the public are asked to note that the alphabet system under the Emergency Management (COVID-19) Curfew No. 5 Directive only applies to banks, credit unions, public markets, supermarkets, hardware and retail operators.

The curfew directive may be downloaded from the website of the Barbados Government Information Service at gisbarbados.gov.bb.
