UPDATE: Thunderstorm delaying restoration in four affected parishes
Further outages have been reported to the Barbados Light and Power Limited Company and now four parishes seem to be impacted.
On its Twitter page, Light and Power posted:
"#OutageNotice We are also aware of an outage affecting customers in parts of St. James and St. Peter. Our crews have been dispatched and are working to restore power to those customers."
This was shared just after 4 pm.
They also shared their crews had begun the restoration process for those customers in the Wildey, St Michael area.
However, as they work to sort the issues they called on customers to be mindful of the thunderstorm happening now. "Please note that the current weather conditions will cause a delay in the full restoration of those affected areas."
