Chefette Restaurants Limited is sticking to its plan to provide a delivery service that is of a high standard and one which goes beyond what is offered currently by any other restaurant on the island.
As such, the company has said that they are not compromising quality for speed.
Having unveiled one of their new Chefette Delivery Suzuki Swift vehicles this morning (May 20), speaking to Loop News this afternoon, Managing Director Ryan Haloute said: "We have begun to sticker our Chefette Delivery fleet of new Suzuki Swifts."
In terms of when can customers expect the highly anticipated service, he said, "Our Team is working towards sourcing the warmer bags and other items necessary to then fully test before we launch.
"Our plan is to have a phased launch so we can gauge the demand and moreso focus on having a great overall customer experience before we offer delivery to the entire island at one time."
The company first disclosed its plans to offer delivery on May 4, 2020, though in an interview with Loop previously, Haloute said that this move was part of a bigger plan before COVID-19.
On Instagram today (May 20), Chefette shared a peek at the new Chefette Swift and captioned the video reveal:
"We are tirelessly working behind the scenes to make sure our NEW Delivery service is second to none. We refuse to compromise the quality of our brand and thus all logistics must be in place before we can start testing to ensure high quality assurance. In the mean time, check out the first car in our fleet, coming soon to a road near you! #SuzukiSwift #ChefetteDelivery #ComingSoon"
The brand wrapping of the Chefette vehicles was done by Sign Depot. Chefette said that they did "awesome work on stickering our fleet "
