COVID-19 Update: Two women are the latest to test positive

Another person tests positive for COVID-19 fresh off their flight after being tested at Barbados' facility at the Grantley Adams International Airport.

She is a 38-year-old Barbadian/American who arrived on a Jet Blue flight yesterday (July 25).

She was one of the two positives recorded accord amongst the batch of tests completed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday.

The other COVID-positive patient is a 28-year-old female visitor, who arrived on Air Canada on July 19. She is the fourth person from that flight to test positive so far.

Barbados’ tally of COVID-19 cases now stands at 110.

There are now nine people in isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy. No one was discharged from the facility. Ninety-four people have recovered and seven have died.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has completed 10,403 tests since February.
