Cooler cruises on the MV DreamChaser on pause due to COVID-19.

This from Captain John Moore, co-owner of the MV DreamChaser.

With temperature checks, bar screens, manifest, and social distancing in place as a result of COVID-19 in addition to mandatory face coverings, Moore said that the team discussed the logistics and cooler cruises are not back on the cards yet.

He told Loop News:

"Actually, that is one of the things that we discussed. Honestly, I really don't want to encourage the cooler cruises.

"It's going to be a harsh decision but we sat down and we thought of it and based on what is happening right now, we are going to have to definitely put a pause on it."

But he said that it is until they can feasibly and safely accommodate such.

During the past three months due to COVID-19, even supermarkets were asking shoppers to refrain from bringing their reusable shopping bags or to sanitise them ahead of entering the supermarket. Shoppers with reusable bags at some supermarket chains had to pack their own bags out of safety for the store packers.
