Over the last two weeks President Nicola Yard and her team have been diligently creating a picturesque environment for the students and teachers of the elementary institution.

Yard said the Adopt-a-School initiative was a part of the club’s social responsibility programme and coincided with the Eden Lodge Primary School K-Kids’ “Skip a snack” project.

“For a period of time students gave up their snack money and they used the money to purchase items to put into a care package and that package was donated to the Eden Lodge Day Nursery”, Yard explained.

The care package included tools and materials which the students and teachers can use during their daily operations.

Yard said the aim of this year’s K-Kids project was to teach the children about selflessness and volunteerism, and she proudly expressed how pleased she was with the members and their efforts throughout the year.
