Koffee's impressive run continues after landing a spot on Billboard's 21 under 21 list for this year.

The Jamaican Grammy winner, real name Mikayla Simpson, is amongst some of music's biggest names along with other young chart-topping artists such as Billie Eilish, Lil TJay, and Chloe x Halle.

This latest honor comes after her newest endorsements with MasterCard and Malta in recent months; various collaborations such as her recent one with Buju Banton; along with numerous awards and praise from Rihanna and even the Obamas.

In speaking to Billboard Magazine, the young reggae star acknowledged the huge responsibility that comes with what she does.

“This is a big opportunity for me, a big platform that I can use to set an example for those that are younger than me. To keep things positive and inspire others to reach their full potential — it’s a huge responsibility, and I want to do a lot of good with it,” Koffee said.

Koffee became the first female artist to win Best Reggae Album Grammy in 35 years, along with being the category’s youngest winner of all time.

The young icon has had her single Lockdown smash Jamaican Youtube’s ‘million views in 48 hours’ record.

She also was a part of BET’s first Reggae/ Dancehall cipher at its virtual 2020 Awards ceremony alongside Dancehall legends Bounty Killer and Beenie Man and Dancehall sweetheart Shenseea.
