Lodge Hill residents will be inconvenienced this week as the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) does emergency work in the area.
Today, the BWA issued a statement to inform residents and businesses in parts of St Michael that an emergency connection to the 10-inch main at Lodge Hill will be done tomorrow, Friday, March 6, between 9 am and 7 pm. This work forms part of the installation of the new tank system at Lodge Hill.
As a result, customers who live in Lodge Hill and the surrounding areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages and are asked to store an adequate supply of water to help throughout this period.
On Friday, residents in the south-east of the island are also expecting low pressure and water outages as a well pump at Hampton pumping station is to be replaced.
