UPDATE: Man stable after being shot in his head, another in custody

Police have a man in custody in relation to last night's shooting incident at Lower Duncans in St Philip.

A Duncans resident is in stable condition today after being shot in the head last night.

Police are carrying out investigations into the shooting incident which was reported about 7.30 pm (June 1).

According to the police report, the victim is Vincent Thorne. He is 55 years old and resides at Lower Duncans, in St Phillip.

Thorne reportedly received a gunshot wound to the left area of his head by a man known to him. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
