Natalia is out of ICU: Warrior Princess making progress against dengue

She may only be six years old but she's proving to have a mighty spirit.
Natalia Barrow-White is out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). Natalia was admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with dengue hemorrhagic fever and ended up in ICU. She needed to get platelets urgently and immediately.
After issuing a national appeal to get donors to come to Natalia's aid on November 8, her mother Katrina Barrow is happy to thank everyone who turned up on behalf of her little Warrior Princess over the past week.
"Thank you to all the persons who donated blood or even said a word of prayer on this journey towards the recovery of Natalia. Family, extended family, friends, work colleagues, friends of the family, even those persons who were not acquaintances, thank you."
She told Loop News that Natalia is still hospitalised but with her improvements, she is no longer in ICU and for that she is grateful.
Katrina went on to say that she could not forget the medical staff at the Martindale's Road-located healthcare facility. To the QEH staff, she said, "Thank you to the doctors and nurses who have taken their time to provide that special care to her during that critical period. Thank you. Thank you."
Though unsure of how many people answered her desperate plea and call for donations of blood, she said that she's happy to report that "There is no longer an urgent need for blood to be donated."
On Loop's Facebook page alone, Natalia's story was shared over 835 times since it was posted on November 9, and there was an outpouring of prayers in the comments.
