No new positive COVID-19 tests on April 8

No one tested positive for COVID-19 from the 53 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Tuesday, April 7. 

Barbados' statistics on April 8 as it relates to confirmed cases and the number of deaths remained constant for 24 hours. The only change documented was Barbados has eight recovered patients, up from six as of April 5.

The total number of persons positive for the virus remains at 63 and the number currently in isolation at 52.  

Since February 11, Barbados has conducted 655 laboratory tests for COVID-19. The first two cases of the disease were recorded on March 16, and since then three persons have died.

Three patients are in critical condition at the Enmore isolation facility, while the majority of cases remain in mild or stable condition.
