Erica and Chris Bartholomew are hoping that their cat ‘Little Girl’ will be returned safely to them after she went missing five days ago.

Erica told Loop News that she has received several calls from persons offering assistance in locating her beloved pet.

“I just got off the phone with somebody who’s been searching for her since 8 am, this morning . . . People that we talk to or that we stop on the road, we try to give them a flyer and they’ve said that they’ve already seen it and shared it on social media”.

The flyer caught the attention of many Barbadians on social media but what stood out the most was the $5,000 reward.

“The reward is to help motivate persons to look for her also in case somebody did happen to just take her to give her back,” said Erica.

She explained how Little Girl meant a lot to her family. The domestic short-hair cat was with the family for 12 years. Erica hopes that Little Girl will be returned safely to them as time winds down.

“We moved here a year ago from the States and we’re going back on September 1”.

Little Girl is described as an all-white cat with green eyes and no collar. According to the flyer she is “very sweet but very shy, scared of retreating with strangers”. She is an indoor senior cat which takes daily hypersensitive medication and went missing from Mullins Road, St Peter.

Anyone with information or who has found Little Girl before September 1 can contact Erica at 851-1984 or her husband Chris at 851-1977. If she is found after September 1, persons can contact Alison at 235-6279, Diane at 834-1916 or Linda at (714) 403-1333.
