Scattered showers expected later in the night on October 10

The Atlantic High-Pressure system is expected to bring fair to partly cloudy skies with a few isolated showers for the major part of the day, today Thursday, October 10.

Forecasters with the Barbados Meteorological say later today, a surface to low-level trough will be affecting the island.  This is expected to bring fair to occasionally cloudy conditions with brief scattered showers.

The wind is blowing from the East to the East South East at between 10 and 30 km/h and the seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 2.0m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 31.6⁰C and it dropped to a low of 26.9⁰C overnight.
