Shooting incident in Tweedside Road leaves woman injured

Police are requesting the public's assistance to locate a man wanted in connection with the aggravated burglary which occurred along Tweedside Road, St Michael Saturday night.
The man is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, dark complexion with a low haircut. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black T-shirt and black 3/4 pants. It is believed that he may have injuries in the form of burns to his face, head and/or upper torso.
Anyone who may know of the identity or whereabouts of the person described should immediately contact the Police Emergency at 211, C.I.D at 430-7189, any police station or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477 (TIPS).

A female is nursing gunshot wounds after a shooting incident last night in Tweedside Road, St Michael.
Police report that the shooting which occurred around 8:13 pm was a result of an attempted robbery at an establishment in the area.
The woman whose name has yet to be released was shot in her leg by a man. She was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle and is hospitalized with a broken right femur as a result of the gunshot injury to her right thigh.
Lawmen are continuing investigations surrounding the incident.
